Performance Warranty:

ProtectSeal is a high-clarity PET surface laminate engineered to protect stone, sealed wood, metal, and glass surfaces from etching, staining, and surface wear. The applied film is warrantied to provide a protective barrier against most household acids, alkalis, oils, and water for a period of up to 10 years from the installation date in residential and light commercial environments.

Product Warranty:

The product is warrantied against yellowing, bubbling, or adhesive failure, assuming proper condition and care. This warranty does not include damage due to:

• Cuts or scratches

• Excessive heat above 248°F (120°C)

• Improper cleaning or chemical exposure

• Peeling, lifting, or removal by users

Warranty applies only to professionally installed ProtectSeal on properly prepared, compatible surfaces.

Life Expectancy & Aesthetic Refresh:

ProtectSeal is designed to be removable and replaceable, allowing surfaces to be refreshed as needed. Life expectancy depends on usage and care:

• Hotels: Lifespan ranges 5–7 years depending on traffic and wear

• Restaurants/bars: Lifespan ranges 2–4 years

• Residential clients: Lifespan ranges up to 5 years depending on traffic and wear

• Residential clients: High traffic areas such as kitchens etc 2-3 years depending on wear

• Residential & Commercial clients: For a very light use area lifespan ranges up to 10 years.

  *Replacement is often based on aesthetic preference, not failure — much like polishing or resealing unprotected stone*.

While the film may scratch with sharp use, the underlying stone or surface remains protected.

Care & Maintenance:

Cleaning is simple and safe using the following:

• Mild dish soap and warm water

• pH-neutral stone or glass cleaners

• Soft microfiber cloths for wiping and buffing

Avoid:

• Abrasives (Comet®, Soft Scrub®, steel wool)

• Solvents or harsh chemicals (bleach, acetone, vinegar)

• Steam cleaning or high-pressure tools

• Cutting directly on the film

Always use cutting boards and heat pads. If the surface scratches or wears down, contact your installer for film replacement service —your underlying surface remains safe.

Do Not:

• Peel or lift the edges of the film

• Drag heavy or sharp objects across the surface

• Place hot pots or pans directly on the protected area

• Use polish, wax, or sealers

Warranty Support:

To file a warranty claim, contact your authorized installer or submit your request through your installer's customer service system. Claims must include:

• Installation receipt

• Date of install

• Description of issue and photos

If the product is found to be defective under this warranty, your installer will replace the affected film at no charge. Labor, travel, or surface restoration (if damaged by misuse) may be subject to additional cost.
